Johnny Lara was raised in Kerrville, Texas, where he developed a lasting appreciation for the beauty and lifestyle of the Texas Hill Country. That local perspective now shapes how he serves his clients, helping sellers position their homes to stand out and buyers find properties that match their long-term goals. He later moved to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he also began building his professional career. Over the next decade, Johnny established himself in Operations and Account Management, gaining valuable experience in communication, organization, and client service. Johnny’s career eventually led him to New England, where he worked across the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine seacoast region. His territory included the North Shore and surrounding communities: Salem, Boston, and Portland, Maine. This experience gave him a strong understanding of working with people from different regions and backgrounds, and the importance of adapting to each client’s individual needs. 

After several years in New England, Johnny returned to Texas and settled back in Kerrville. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management and brings a strong background in sales and customer service to his real estate practice. He is known for his attention to detail, reliability, communication, and commitment to providing a high level of care to every client he serves. Having experienced multiple relocations and career transitions himself, Johnny understands how important it is to work with a REALTOR® who is informed, dependable, and focused on the client’s best interests.
